Never have, but will try any critter once. Have done alpaca, cows, pigs and goats. Goats were interesting. Put one in and he managed to excape before we got #2 in, took 4 of us to keep 1 & 2 in while getting the 3rd in and then humans out without having to start over. Then we could not get the little buggers out again! Once they discovered the hay they laid down to eat.

Edit to add

A friend who has one tells me they can be temperamental. Fine and cooperative one minute then have what he calls a yak out. He says if he needs to move it he mildly sedated it.

I'm glad that the yak is only real in tim's imagination.

I got a new knife. Promptly cut myself using said knife. 🤦‍♀️ Went thru 2 regular bandaids before I smartened up and used a gigantic bandaid. Crisis averted and no food was contaminated. I did have to wash two plates after I set the table. All is well now. Guess I need to be more careful.

🤔  I have only tasted lamb once, and I am in my 70s. My father served in army during WW-2, and due to long periods of eating  poor tasting mutton k-rations, he swore to never having to eat anything to do with sheep products ever again! I suspect his stories had a large influence on all of us kids, in forming our lifetime food preferences.  Just a weird childhood memory that seem to have had a lasting effect on all of us. They say when the soldiers returned to the states after the war, lamb and mutton consumption dropped dramatically.

My father served in WW2 and he loved lamb, as do I. My grandmother made the most spectacular leg of lamb that while providing an abundance of drippings for gravy, still remained moist and tender. She would cook it every time we would visit her in Boston, and it's one of my fondest childhood memories. We would lunch on open faced hot lamb and gravy sandwiches for days afterwards. Although my father was an excellent cook, one of his regrets was that he could never master her  technique for that roasted leg of lamb.

It was at 6pm... lamb came out lovely.. next will be our fav.. lamb curry.. oh we love curried anything .. but lamb is our fav.  Your peach cobbler sounds delish.. we are having apple and strawberry crisp.. no ice cream.  Chapman's makes some lovely sugar-free stuff, but i'm not paying the exorbitant price the grocery store wants for it.

I'm not surprised. I won't eat mutton either, my other half will, but honestly, there isn't much He won't eat. i am much fussier than He is. LOL.  Lamb needs to be cooked properly.. medium rare or no more than medium. Otherwise, it gets strong tasting and tough. And good mint sauce helps if you find the flavour a little strong. I think most game eaters would like lamb.
