Submission - a poem

You requested a poem .. here you are   Submission   You kneel before me unclothed Like you’ve done a thousand times Knees spread apart So you’re open to me, vulnerable   I walk around you saying nothing Your head is bowed in submission Hands on thighs You know to whom you belong   Your back marked from our play Pain you will carry for days Borne with dignity Your strength a source of pride   You are my

Warning: D/s BDSM subjects... some mention of sex, oral sex.        I met tim serving lunch at the mission where we both volunteered. He was less than impressed with me and not interested in my good cop-self. That was fine, but I knew it wouldn’t stop me. I would have that sweet skinny-assed boy.   Though I knew he’d be mine, I also knew his back story. I knew I had to be careful. I knew I had to take my time.   After finishing with serving lunch, the vol

Sneak Peek - The Pack

“Thirteen is a very important age, Ash. You're a teenager now, growing up so fast. And we have something very special to celebrate!” “Really?” “Of course! Come with me!”   Gwen took the boy’s hand and led him to the back of the house and up the stairs to the bedrooms. At the end of the hall she stopped and turned back to the boys with a smile. The room in front of them was the same one Ash had stayed in when he first arrived, right across the hall from where he was now sharin

What Makes America Great

Today, on the last day of school, we had several special visitors taking a tour of the building. The school I teach at specializes in non-native English speakers, recently arrived immigrants, refugees from war zones, and other historically under-served minorities. The amount of racial, cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity is staggering. This coming year, we are expanding to include a classroom strictly for kids who have just recently arrive in the US and don't have enough language and cult

Denver Pride - Or what I learned at my Big Gay Sleepover

This past weekend I had the singular privilege of being able to attend Denver Pride weekend. This was to be my first Pride Parade outside of Vancouver, and indeed my first Pride events outside of Canada at all. Naturally, this means it didn't happen because I got super sick and had to leave before the parade. Before I departed early and fled back to a climate that could support my biology, I was able to re-learn a number of things that we should never take for granted as LGBTQ people and allies.

Royally screwed by medical offices

This has been an absolute mess. I have to get my knee fixed, it keeps shifting. So you don't have to look that up, it moves in directions it's not supposed to, in my case both too far forward and too far towards the outside of the knee. You have to have a pre-surgery clearance no more than 30 days before the surgery - so they know the anesthesia won't kill you.   So I start the process May 5th, with the blood work and ekg, chest X-ray the 9th - first available appointment. The ekg was

The Message and the Muse

Writing has been difficult for the past year and a half. It's not from a shortage of ideas. I'm drowning in ideas right now, and I think if I could sell ideas I'd never have to work again. But I haven't been able to write most of these ideas myself. It's been a struggle ever since I finished "From the Cup of the Worthless". At first I thought it was because I was depressed, or that I'd started to overextend my use of similar themes. I managed to pump out "Fearless" really quickly, and I hoped

A Writing Slump

Yep. I'm so frustrated at this point. I have so many writing projects on my computer at the moment, but I can't seem to make any progress on anything. I don't know if it's simply because the depression has reared its ugly head, if it's stress, or what is causing my issues. All I know is that I "want" to write, I just can't seem to make anything work the way I want it to. I don't think this is writer's block, at least not in the traditional sense of the word. Writer's block to me usually means th

The DL Diaries 2007

This book belongs to Cole:   2007   Things were starting to look like I had made a decision, it was my weekend off which was much needed. Since most of us were off we had decided to plan a fun night out of drinking and dancing. It was still pretty early in the day so I decided to just hang and rest. Out of nowhere I received a text from X. I didn’t respond so within ten minutes he was calling me. “What do you want?” I felt no need to be nice to him nor did I have any reason

Absurdity

I wrote this poem the other day after watching about five minutes of 'America's Got Talent'. Hope you can relate.   ---------------------------- Absurdity   With curious gazes do we transfix Our eyes to things bizarre; O! how we know (or entertain) Ideas that are so far From things we maybe ought to think- Or also entertain But no heads turn, no gaze transfix Upon me or my name-   I am the invisible; the sensible; the good;

Trump: Another Look

I've been fascinated by this guy for some time.   You see I was around in 1992 when the evil midget H Ross Perot showed up, acted crazy and took the margin of victory away from Papa Bush. I was expecting the daffy billionaire with a bee in his bonnet to make a statement and then fadeaway.    When he won the republican primaries, I was surprised.   Trump out-republicaned republicans. Mainstream republicans like Cruz, Rubio and Paul were bulldozed.   When he

Featured Story: A Healing Heart

Well, it's the start of a new week, and for today's schedule, we're bringing you Puppilull's review of A Healing Heart by lilansui. Featured story days are a great way to highlight one of the many stories that can be found in GA Stories. With so many stories, it's easy for a single story to get lost in the shuffle. If you're reading a story that you would like to do a blog review and bring attention to, PM me (Renee). Now, onto the review. Hopefully you enjoy Puppilull's review enough to go chec

Weekly Wrap Up (June 4-10)

Okay, so let me start out with a possible apology. I wrote the update earlier on and thought I saved it as a post dated blog. If anything pops up in the future saying it is today's wrap up, I do apologize   I wonder if this is covered in the GA Users Manual   Anywho...... It was a busy week in the GA News Blog. We had an extra feature this week! Make sure you check out Myr's Tech Blog post from yesterday to see about what has happened but also what is coming   Monday: W

What scares me

The thing that scares me most is love. I'm scared because I love easily. I find someone I can connect to and within a week I feel love for that person. I've done this twice and both times that love was not returned. In fact the first time the other guy and I were planning to celebrate his birthday together. The day before I was to come over I tried texting him and he didn't reply as a matter of fact the message was never delivered. I then called his number and that's when my heart broke when the
