Carlos Hazday Posted September 13, 2022 Author Posted September 13, 2022 @Clancy59 Have you gotten far on chapter 1? I'm about two thirds of the way on 2 and that one will include sailing, where they stay, the cliff walk, and a clambake. 1
Clancy59 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Trying to, but got bogged down with doctor appointments (in fact, we have another one today!) and a visit to the ER when hubby fell and hit his head. He’s on blood thinners and we were told that if he ever hits his head to get to the ER STAT! Luckily, there were no clots or fractures., but we were there for several hours. You know what an ER is like. That’s not a complaint. Just a comment. They were busy, especially with a couple of people who were having cognitive issues. 4 1

Doesn't it suck that something like that would have been made fun of? The older I get, the more serious small accidents become. 4
Clancy59 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 The good news is he got a glowing report. He doesn’t have to go back for a year! Yay! 1 3
frosenblum Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Congrats, Carlos. Today's weekly email from GA lists CDMX as the third most read Thriller/Suspense story on GA in the last month. 4

Popular Post Carlos Hazday Posted September 23, 2022 Author Popular Post Posted September 23, 2022 @frosenblum So, the first Friday in October (SCOTUS has the first Monday locked up ) Flying Circus will go live. Weekly postings should take us to right before Christmas. Not sure what will happen then. I am working on the 3rd short story chronicling June 2022 (Key West and Everhope) were the first two, but I'm taking my time. Out of the three for July and the three for August, I think I want to write at least 1 for each month. Both include monumental events already or soon to be referenced. Ever wonder how Obama made it to the Supreme Court? Or why Brett correctly predicted CJ would be appointed ambassador to Cuba? I have one multi-chapter story outlined, set in Vegas in 2027, involving 30th birthdays, weddings, relocations, and new ventures. One of those is Chipper pausing his touring to co-star on Broadway for at least a year. The musical, co-written by him and his friend Aslan (Singer) is based on a short story set in Hawaii. That short story might be fun to write for Premium. I have at least one chapter outlined for Harley, Patrick, and Tank. I may just write those and ignore the rest of the story. There's also Triple Play about the Robinson triplets, and the remaining 4 stories covering the summer of 2022. Very much doubt all that will see the light of day. 5 3

Kinda like Tom Clancy's estate has done. 5

Really starting to wondering how big your files with notes and dates are.... 380KB LOL That's the size of my Excel file. I've recently deleted a bunch of stuff no longer relevant to current stories, but the cast list and timeline sheets are huge. They do come in handy, though. In the story I'm working on now, I recycle a couple of characters and one of them only had a cameo in one of the Georgetown stories. I wrote that what? 5, 6 years ago. Even back then I knew I'd use Paul again and how. Finally getting to it. 5 2
Popular Post Carlos Hazday Posted September 24, 2022 Author Popular Post Posted September 24, 2022 BTW, in case anyone's wondering... the celebrant in Loving Anniversary was Father Patrick Thomas Kennedy. Uncle Paddy to Liebe while she grew up. 2 7

LOL One of the problems I encountered writing Loving Anniversary was how to make the story accessible to non CJ followers. Once I settled on the plot, I had to decide who to include. Of course, I had to do some extrapolation about the characters I did mention. That means mostly that group of Liebe contemporaries. But there's an entire second batch of cousins who didn't make the cut. They're about 10 years younger than the trouble-making sailors. Ritch and Lucy have a boy and a girl (Falcon and Aurora). Harley and Kim had two girls (Lily and Rose). Brad and Cristina at least one girl (Scarlett). Oh, well. It is what it is. Maybe that younger assistant/collaborator can one day write their stories. 6
