So it was a lovely day at Faire. Bright and sunny with a light breeze and the humidity inproved. Acutally, it was hot if you were in the sunshine. About mid-morning a squad of ROTC from one of the local universities visited the shop. Eight pieces of prime military grade eye candy all between the ages of 19 and 20. They promised to post some of the photos they took on the shop Facebook page. I know, I know, you want stories. I really wish I could get the words to flow.

It is a beautiful place, though. It's old and well worth the money if the damage isn't too severe. I would be tempted to pay for an engineers report, and it it's not as bad as suspected, renegotiate the price with the owner to offset the cost. Just saying... whenever you buy an old house there are usually issues.

Dennis' cousin bought a old Saltbox style house that was built in the 1671. He had to rebuild a bit of the house. Wonderful old home. They (Dennis' cousin and his wife) remodeled the house, with a new kitchen.

I love Ali dearly, but I know I am not able to home school her. I don't have the knowledge or the patience. And unfortunately I work from home and so need the time she is at school to work in peace. 

I have huge respect for any parent who home schools though. It is a big job.

I only have so much in the bank. I'm also retired, so dependant on my pension. It is a beautiful place, but if I can't afford to fix it up, it would be foolish of me to start spending all my life savings on it, and then find myself completely broke...
