Why the hell couldn't I pull it up yesterday or today's on either the Forum's link or the one in the Stories section.

Dunno, I get notifications because I clicked on the SA's profile and follow the SA as a member and author, it should work for everyone.

For Off the Rails and Hiding in Plain Sight, my love of odd shows helped me fill in the gaps. Anyone else thought of The Three-Body Problem and Westworld while reading? Just me?

I've watched those ... didn't think of them while reading either.  I enjoyed all the Westworlds and Three-Body Problem and a lot of other shows like them.

What about Free Guy?

Love both of them, Three-Body Problem novels are intricate and Westworld has some fun plot-twists with the hosts. Too bad, Westworld was canceled before the final game between humans and androids could occur.

Reading 'Alltopia' I had some associations with The Great Ball at Satan's chapter from Bulgakov's classic 'The Master and Margarita'. Generally, I think there are some elements of Murakami in those fantasy worlds of Secret Authors. Considering that most authors are amateur writers and with limited possibilities of short story, I have to say that SA did an amazing job. Bravo!

And so to Australia - a perfectly normal family camping trip during Bryce’s Xmas holiday, until…..   For most of the story I was convinced I knew the author with a v familiar narrative style, no gay angle etc. But the sci part came in right at the end and threw me off track.

Your one sci-fi story was actually four stories - The Deep Space Series.

I get the feeling by the writing style that today's SA is  relatively new author. Just because its set in Australia and references many terms there doesn't necessarily mean the author lives there. Maybe they spent a semester abroad or we're stationed there for a job?

Hmmm... the plot thickens.
