@Dodger ???? But this isn’t his style, I think.   🤔

He is an English man living in Canada, hmm 🤔

I only suggested the idea of a Canadian author due to the British style terminology and the mention of Jr. High, which I don't believe they have in the UK.

Thank you, Bill!  That answers my question.  :)

For Ever Young - you cannot quote the song lyrics at the beginning of the story using the caveat of fair use, not for commercial use. Songs are nearly always copyrighted:  Songwriters: Bob Dylan / Jim Cregan / Kevin Savigar / Rod Stewart - Forever Young lyrics © BMG Rights Management, Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC, Warner Chappell Music, Inc.

You need permission from the copyright owner or both you and the website could be sued!

There is a strange reference to GA and why female authors on the site downplay descriptions of sex.  A red herring, I suspect, as it certainly isn’t true of some of the female authors I’ve read here.

Yes, but it really sounds like something @kbois would write:

 “Women don’t usually write graphic sex scenes, and when they do, they’re all romantic, with the guys kissing, then stopping to gaze into each other’s eyes, giggling, and then kissing again.”

Not that I suggest anything * 😇
