OMG, violence really escalated in this chapter! Sometimes, it looks like Pete is fighting Don Quixote's battles, luckily there are Uncle George and good friends to support him.

I felt like an anthropologist attending a new culture so foreign to an American. I observed it and was educated. Vaughn is very insightful and descriminating. He is to me a good educator. His happy agreement to place a shocking picture of man in the front as people entered his home reminded me of what the late, disgraced Jeffrey Epstein did. He had a painting of Bill Clinton in a striking dress placed at people entered his New York townhouse. It was quite a conversation piece. Heyward's self-description had to naturally part truthful and part fabricated. If they have more discussions, they may begin to see what is more real than false.
