I believe this is not just a single demon, but some type of amalgam of demons. I'm with @drsawzall and @drpaladin. My thinking is that Simon is just unconscious and hence Yidian cannot sense him.

It seems the country retreat is finished. It is impfressive. Now Oscar has the freedom to decide what to do with it and consider who he wants to reside in it and help him. He has lots of time. His two friends may have useful ideas. They are all soon going to be starting their next education programs and becoming responsible adults.
