Tanka #1

 

With fear and trembling

I submit my words; wider

audiences to

read my fool's ephemera.

Can mathematics teachers

do anything besides count?

LOL You are hardly challenged Mr Writer man! But poetry is scary, since it's so much more emotional. You're off to a flying start!

Obviously the answer is yes... your trepidation was presented in such a way as to be charming... I loved it... cheers... Gary...

Oh, my trepidation is real enough. I feel like such a fraud as a writer sometimes. When that happens, I bet anyone can see through me - I'm just a schoolteacher masquerading...

If only I would have had mathematical teachers with your wit, maybe I would have done better in their classes.

I loved it.

Math is a language, too. What a pity do many of who teach math refuse to teach language first and foremost. Plus, it's just fun to play.
