Waste of a Day - i.e. Time I Will Never Get Back

Having the day off is such a wonderful thing - most of the time. This week, despite being 'furloughed' on Monday - which is a crock of pig dung because a furlough is not the taking of a day's pay, it is the taking of a day's pay and telling you that you don't have to work. Big Time Win

What hell looks like

My cousin was diagnosed with terminal cancer last summer. We have tried to keep in touch as best we could but we got word last night that it was only a matter of hours.   I drove my Mom to Pascagoula, MS this morning and arrived at the hospice where my cousin is staying for her last days.   As soon as I entered the place it was like stepping into hell. Changes

Since I have last blogged… some things have happened.       I no longer have to deal with my sexist co-worker. We changed teams in October and he landed on a different team. I still remain friendly towards him, but I am glad I no longer see him everyday. He did seek me out quite a bit when he had problems with customers and it felt good to tell him I could no longer help him. I didn’t land up with my favorite supervisor, but I did get and evil one, which sped up my looking for a new job.

Bye bye moto droid...

Well I ain't gonna miss it anytime soon, my droid phone. It's been acting up and not hanging up on calls when I end them, and the screen was messed up as well as in it wouldn't read my touches right.
