Should be an interesting week

This week I go from doing the job of three people down to two, as I am training the new hire tomorrow.   My Manager is coming to town to be with her new hire but she won't be doing any of the training. Okay, so last night, I discovered that my daughter (13yrs, 8th grade) was supposed to have written the rough draft of a story about a painting. And it was due three days ago. Birthdays and Luck

It's that time of the year again, yes, I mean my birthday. I don't know about the rest of the world, but as a kid, I use to look forward to my birthday and couldn't wait to get another year older. A Year Later and 29th Birthday

It's been a weird couple of days. I turned 29 yesterday, and on November 29th, I commemorated the 1st year anniversary of my close friend Steve's death. My writing has never been what I would call really inspired. Heading into the Holidays

The holidays are upon us. Cards, gifts, shopping, and a whirlwind of activity are happening already and we aren't even at Thanksgiving.   People are already in the mood. Suicide... why do people do it?

I've always wondered what drives people to the decision to end their life. In certain cases I can understand why, I may not agree but I understand. My Nightmares

It's 4:30am again and I haven't slept. I've got to be up in 3 hours and I'm screwed.   There's danger in writing about old times. Sometimes you wake up old demons that you wished you had left alone.   I'm going to warn you that if you go past the spoiler you're going to read something shitty. Are they kidding me?

My refrigerator has a reasonably small freezer drawer. I am a fairly old fashioned cook who likes to purchase and preserve foods in season so I went out back in 1982 and bought a chest freezer that served me well for 30 years.
