Well... hubby and I just labored for an hour and a half mounting a 75 inch tv on the wall. After a trip to the store to get a battery for the stud finder (don't even go there @weinerdog) we succeeded...

..... mostly. 

It's crooked. 

Sigh.

I used a level... and a tape measure. 

We mounted a piece of half inch plywood into one of the studs. That was perfectly level. I think when we were placing the actual mount onto the plywood, it wiggled just enough to throw the whole thing off. 

Its not horribly crooked... about the same as it was in the last house 🤣🤣

Job interviewing is pretty stressful. Making it through three rounds with the same company is usually a pretty good sign, right? 

Then they drop the news that they will make a decision within the next week. 

Sure, they may have other interviews but waiting is still frustrating.

If they hadn't weeded things down by round 2, I think that says more about the company than it does about the applicants. 

Round 3 you should be discussing salary, your sign on bonus, benefits, and hearing how thankful they are to be hiring the amazing @kbois. 

Patience isn't always the virtue that it's cracked up to be.

I lied.. we were in that office for like 5 minutes.. told us to make an appointment. You can't book an appointment for that office...i found out when i got home and tried. No, but i can make one for an office 8km away for October 9th.  Luckily it's this year.  Hopefully a health card is not required in the meantime. Sigh

 

Update.. decided to go back an check all the locations.. found one farther away than the other but can get in there on Sept 18th.  It's only 13km away.   That's much better than middle of october.
