Well, they made it to Tampa and Julie's house. Connor was very apptrehensive. As it turns out he and M and Jack were accepted and given a place to stay. Julie is helping him to find a job. She is working a computer to find job opening. Her family life is not great, but at least as Connor said Julie's husband-- greg-- did not hit his only son when he said his gf was pregnant. Greg shouted loudly, though. Connor walked Jack outside and at some point seemed to be controlled and tormented by a being who spoke in his mind and said--"do not trust him." Is the him actually M ?. Why is the statement so cryptic? I bet the man in black is not giving up. Connor saw another sign of someting he cannot understand---"He watched the waves swell, watched the way they tugged on the pale reflection of the moon. Then a shimmering beam of light shot out from above the house. It flew over the water, ascending rapidly, before it zoomed off at an incredible speed and disappeared." Is this an indication of an alien presence tracking M? Connor is not comprehening that if he shows up legally and posts his details--like filling out forms to be hired--he can be connected to any police alerts and be arrested.I do also worry about the upcoming block party which might stress M in new ways. Comicality was the first story I discovered when I was 15 years old. It also led to my discovery of Gay Authors, a place where I was able to connect with gay people for the first time from a very small, rural corner of Michigan. I admit I have not read a story of his since then, but I wanted to say thank you for allowing me to discover this wonderful place where I found a community that led me to accept my own sexuality. I have no doubt many others discovered the community here in the same way. May he rest in peace.
