  3. I agree with @Bill W. It was terrific to see so many people join in this anthology. Thanks to the Anthology team!

    Chapter 4

@chris191070 was very generous in this chapter by confirming the clues shared in previous chapters. What's up with that? This is unusual for the author that stocks the red herring fishing holes that his stories are well known for. What am I missing?

  6. Nope. Never have I ever been proficient in the timing necessary to be a successful comedian.

    Chapter 4

As smart as Ahmad was taking his Mother to the restaurant he was equally stupid for sending Mohammed is such a haphazard way.Sute he didn't know about Joe's men but he should have realized that the possibility that Tom and George dorm room could be watched. Luckily we have dumb criminals
  9. Could have been dork, denial, demon, diminutive, doofus....
  10. Gary will tell y'all I'm not crazy. You're going to feel silly afterwards.
  11. Hey, T. Happy to see you are rereading this and enjoying it. This was a heck of a chapter to write. Great friendships are often tested, and this one has been. For whatever reason, Coy is there... he has gotten past his pride, and his timing worked out well. It's good to have them back together, at least for now. Cheers and thanks! G.
  12. @StoriesByCirrus That was incredibly beautiful tribute to Com. I too have been trying to put into words how he meant to me but not being the writer you or he is it's taking me a while! I too came across him on Nifty and like you have been penpals with him since almost the beginning. He was the first person I told I was gay and when I was panicing to tell my family he gave me the confidence to do it. He and I are/were same age only 1 month apart... him 2nd May me 3rd June. He always did his best to stay upbeat for everyone and take the time to try and make everyone smile, even though most of us knew his private life could be such a struggle. It's a cliche but in Com's case very true, only the good die young, I will miss him terribly but remember him fondly always. Rest easy Com!

    Chapter 4

Oh Great--Ahmed found out about the sting from a foolish girl who told him about her warning and the boys who were looking for him. It ended up with the sting not working and the girl being captured before she got to the restaurant to meeet Ahmed. Now she is bound and gagged with 6 others girls in an abandoned farm house out of the way from the city. A thug sent by Ahmed to kill the boys was himself captured and bound. He said he will not tell them where the girls are. He was promised that since he wll not talk he will face torture learned from Desert Storm experiences. "When we’re through with you, you will beg for us to kill you, but we’ll continue with the torture. Your best alternative will be to tell us what we want to know.” Wow--private citizens do not have the limits police do. Will the thug talk and if so will it be in time? Meanwhile, the police will be looking for any helicopter flying in the rural places moutside Binghamton that could be used to pick up the girls.
  14. Happy Friday. Sometimes, Deepak, this ain't so easy but we try. Don't quit!
  15. I’ll start out. This involves my most precious web link: Behind that link lies Comsie’s review and endorsement for my Brandon Smiling project. Our private email and chats from this point forward were always special things. I’d always get a thrill when I’d see a new Comsie email come into my inbox! We mostly just talked about Imagine Magazine and some other projects, but I got to know a lot about Comsie in those emails. I was going through them just the other day, remembering him. We had kicked off a wonderful long-distance friendship this way. What amazes me about how Comsie was is the fact he seemed to be able to hold this kind of friendship with so many folks! He gave everyone he could time with him to, just, be friends with him and be enthusiastic about everything! He was a wellspring of enthusiasm and positive energy! He rarely had a cross word for anyone and lived, especially, to encourage other authors with their creativity! His blogged writing tips here at GA are solid gold for any author wanting to really stretch their wings! If his insights into writing are gold then his insights into life and love, especially in the gay context, are diamonds! His wise life advice always built me up. He was most wise and shared that life-wisdom with the generosity that he shared everything else about him! He shared himself so much to the point that it was painful sometimes, but it was a sweet pain. He loved his work and he loved his fans just as much. Comsie will always be with us in his writings, but for those of us that got to know him at all, he will be forever in our hearts! Remembering him will be easy…forgetting him - impossible! Until we meet again, Comsie! I’ll see you on the other side.

Don't worry, Isobel pops up again!
  17. Four of Joe’s ‘consultants’ occupied two tables inside the restaurant. Four others strolled up and down the street in front of the bistro. Four more patrolled the alley next to the building. The only exit from the store, besides the main entrance, led to this alley, and the men hid in the shadows. Ken, Joe, and the sheriff sat in an unmarked vehicle directly across the street from the main entrance. Several other cars were parked at various points within yards of the restaurant. Exactl

I had to think about these poems for a while to absorb their full impact. The others have pretty much described the raw feelings your poems evoked, so I'll merely add to what they've already stated. Thank you for sharing.
  19. Comsie had this tradition of asking a question for folks to answer to be posted on Imagine Magazine. After discussing this with some close friends of Comsie’s, we’ve decided to not only keep Imagine Magazine going in his memory, but to continue these questions. The next issue of Imagine Magazine being planned is going to be a memorial issue. For that issue, I have one simple question: Do you have a special memory of Comicality that you’d like to share? It can be a special email, DM, story comment, chat, or forum post. Anything at all that you and Comsie shared that makes you remember him fondly. He was a man that touched a lot of lives and he was generous with his time and attention. I expect there may be quite a few memories out there worth being shared. For Comsie, let’s hear them!
  20. i hope it's better today & you can put it behind you and have a good weekend
