This month featured questions to AC Benus, Aditus, and Mark Arbour. Hopefully y

The G. M. Os., The End

Well, The G. M. Os. has finally come to an end. 26 chapters, a little over 179,000 words. Quite a project.   Now all that is waiting is the publishing. Chapter 8 went up today. Chapter 9 is out for proofreading.   Frankly, I’m very happy with the story. It was a good mental exercise and kept me sane for two months.   Yesterday had a bit of a letdown and almost had to call the suicide hotline. Haven’t had that feeling in over five years, but I know it’s always there. Good thing I’m going to

The G. M. Os., Thoughts

The G. M. Os. has come down to the last chapter. The cycle of the story has come around to a point close to the beginning as far as relationships go. All I have to do now is write it. No, there is no block. It’s just a matter of tidying up and giving any possible continuation of the story a jumping off point.   My dreams last night were very troubling. There were images from my childhood and family and friends. The scenes were very different, but they had a familiarity to them that was unsettl

Ask An Author #35

C S R Feature: The Life Of Seeon By Comicfan

The start of 2016 is already here, as hard as that is to accept. Where does the time go? I just realized today that we’ve been doing the CSR Features for 3 years now! Is it still popular? Do you have any ideaas for tweaks from the usual feature? Let me know! In the meantime, this month we’re going to enjoy an oldie, but goodie, in Comicfan’s story, The Life of Seeon.   The Life of Seeon By Comicfan   Length: 28,566   Description: Seeon Toleran is the fifth child of the rul

New Story Is Up

Hey All,   I decided to start posting my newest story. Parker and Caz have been helping me with it for a month or more now, and I so greatly appreciate their help and input.   I'm actually a bit stuck on this story--at ch. 14--so I thought posting might get me motivated to write instead of reading all the time. I really feel I need to get it out of my head, but I just keep putting it off. I'm hoping it was maybe just the busy-ness of the holidays and now that they are over I can get back

Chapter 12 Of Cbdt- End Of Book 1

https://www.gayauthors.org/story/w-l/0sand1scbdt/14   I've done it, I have finished a novella. So Book 1 is now in "complete" status, this is my second novella and it is much more reflective of my writing concepts, ideals, and conflicts than my rushed attempt last time to rewrite a lost novel.   As for this chapter, it asks a lot of big questions about morality of lies versus the practical reality of truth in a free society that has mutually antagonistic elements. That is the heart of the ne

Dear Neighbor.....

I'm sure your child is precious to you. All parents think their child is precious. I know your child is excited about his Christmas presents and wants to show our son. Our son is excited about his as well, and wants to spend his Christmas vacation playing Xbox One with his dad. You know the one who works 12 hour shifts and only gets to spend a day with our boy every other week?   We understand your son loves your pets. We love ours too, and consider her part of the family. The Reading List

For some reason, I decided to make a list in Google Docs of everything I've read and enjoyed across three websites and into yaoi.   Thirty minutes later, I had a small list of about 42 yaoi and 15 erotic fiction (mostly series). Mind you, I forgot a ton of the yaoi and grouped some series under one title, or only included one or two of my favorite mangaka's works (plus there are some I'm not ready to fess up to reading >.>), and I've only been reading erotic fiction for three months.

Open Letter To A Grocery Chain

Dear Publix; I realize now that I made a mistake when I begged off of visiting family this year. I failed to account for the fact that no trip to Florida to see family also means no trip to Florida to see you. Trips to Florida are more work than vacation for those born and raised in the region, but time with you makes them all worthwhile. While I am more than content and fulfilled in the romance that took me away to Texas, I regret leaving you. I’ve tried other stores to fill the Publix-shape

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Since I'm running late today, let's get right into it!   Monday we shared a review of lomax's Kissing The Dragon.   Wednesday we revisited a past blog post from Cia called Cia's Torturing Me. Cbdt Chapter 11 (1 More Chapter Before Hiatus And End Of Book 1)

https://www.gayauthors.org/story/w-l/0sand1scbdt/13   Before I begin my weekly blurb, I just want to congratulate all the contestants of the Secret Santa story contest.   Now to start, escalation and counter-escalation is something I love exploring. If you live in a world where threats exists from extreme ideologies, why won't reactionary elements from your own side take action? Being LGBT doesn't mean that we're all saints.   Jesse Heron is determined, hot-tempered, and has nothing to los

The G. M. Os., Chapter 18

Chapter 18? Yes, Chapter 18. I was trying to come up with what I was going to write next in the next chapter in the Hercules III saga, but I just couldn’t come up with anything logical. There just wasn’t anywhere to go even though I had the outline to go by.   So, I thought about where I could go with The G. M. Os. And, then, yesterday it came to me and by five o’clock this afternoon I had completed Chapter 18. Plus, it ended with a cliff hanger, which is extremely rare for me, but seemed appr

Winter

When the idea for the CJ series began to take form in my mind, it was never meant to be a coming of age story about CJ. César was meant to be the main character. I wanted to explore how a father and son, both gay, would relate to each other, and to a circle of mostly gay friends.   Although the little bastard stole the limelight, and my heart along with it, the original intent is still very much at the center of the stories. A group of gay friends, unapologetic for their sexuality, interacting
