You bring us truth, and visions of ourselves we should look at and … well, change.  People are hurting each other, more than this virus likely would. Businesses closed by foolish rumour, greedy people making money on the backs of others, oh.. I don't need to say more.

Pure perfection as always tim. Your words convey truth and visions of ourselves which we need to do more to improve/change on a daily basis.

The real Enemy here is panic. Corona is bad, flu, AIDS, Ebola, they're all bad.

The humans are worse. I don't believe that no one has recovered. Death rates are reported. I have not heard of even ONE survival in the US.

Why aren't they reporting the recovery rates? Because if they say people are surviving, they can't get the Panic they need. With probability to recover in a week to 10 days, tp doesn't fly off shelves. Hand sanitizer can actually be found. Price gouging doesn't work. 

$400 per gallon is what my physical therapist was quoted for hand sanitizer. Really? For 3 quarts of rubbing alcohol and a quart of aloe gel? 

 Humans are horrid.

Yes, Sir.  We talk about it at home and i despair of our world and the selfishness of people. We are not evolving.

You are so right. A story in our newspaper about a couple who went to every Costco, every store and bought $70,000 worth of bleach-wipes. So far they have profited $30,000 by selling them online for inflated prices. They were proud of their feat, made by preying on people's fear. Another story in the same paper from a journalist, who has an autoimmune disease, who needs hand sanitizer and wipes in her everyday life, but now cannot find them and she is afraid ... compromised people and older people,  like you and me and my husband, and others we know here on GA ... are at higher risk IF we are exposed.

I agree they should publish how many have recovered .. people need some hope.  We need to stop sensationalizing everything.. from the weather to this current problem.  It is a horrible way to report things.

I'm not sure which is worse. The price gouging, the panic buying, or the politicization some are doing to score points for November (here in the US).

It's all worse. All disgusting behaviour.

You make me feel frustrated with humanity in this moment. Hoarding must be some ingrained primal response to perceptions of scarcity. This, combined with fear, can break us into fragments. This poem reminds me that I must be better than fears and instincts. Thank you.

Peter, our nephew just said, i am buying a bidet because no one anywhere has toilet paper. In Toronto .. i checked on Walmart online.. nope none.  Insane. There are no cleaning products, no bleach .. lots of vinegar and salt though.  Those two things work great.  We just need to calm down.

Thanks, Thorn... i was upset about all this crap.. but the fact they were saying in some places that they wouldn't bother treating the elderly.  People who never contributed to society, didnt fight for their countries, that someone else get to decide if they live or die.  Oh, i know the logic, it just disgusts me.
