but not this one!  it hit home in so many ways but most especially those last two lines, oh they hit my heart!

you have such a gift, the way your words, about things in your world, say things that i would love to say

 

"the silent" 

 reminds me to breathe, to look around, and "see" what's behind all the noise

Excellent poems, my brother. It took me a while to think of the right words today.

I'll echo Kitt, in that the first one shows a lot of love between two people. While it may have been written about you and Mike, it can be applied to many different relationships.

The second one spoke to me something fierce, and it's the reason why it's taken me a while to comment. I still can't put into words, what it's making me think and feel about.

These speak to me of love, and of calm in being loved. You write so I can feel it and sense it. Thank you. 

Sometimes I wonder about exactly what you are seeing. Beautiful, both of them, but it's the Silent I wonder about the most.

Both beautiful poems, tim. The love in the first is palpable, but it’s  the second which made me go hmm. 

To me, it reads like the saying; the meek shall inherit the earth. There’s more power in living with humility and compassion. A richer and more rewarding spirit/soul too. 

Loved them.
