tim's Bits and Pieces - 53. No Hearts and Flowers

Love you , boy. And this too shall pass, though never from your heart. I wish for only the sweet memories for you to keep. 

I read this poem and really liked it. It speaks to me of people who have passed, and how we remember them. The last paragraph was especially powerful. Sadly our brain and our heart can't always agree. Thanks Tim.

tim as usual a great poem that’s speaks to a lot of us. Everyone of us wonder what would have happen if someone had stayed with us. This loss could be by death or them walking away. This experience is hard at that time but it helps us to become what we are today. So thank you your words have power in them well done my friend. Take care

This poem is wonderful to me. I fell in step with you right away, and felt the push and pull of each stanza. Logic sometimes must take a back seat to what and how we feel, and you express that in a way that touches my heart. 

your words never fail to move me, oftentimes they leave me speechless. this is one of those times

New memories last night and today with SP that I will always treasure, but simultaneously there is heartache and loss from C being gone.

Feb 14 is my mother's birthday, she passed when i was 14 ... it's not a good day for me.  i still dream of her sometimes and i have been .. and i needed to write it.

your new memories made me smile  ... loving the dead is hard, but it softens over time ... C is with you, in those gentle memories, always xo
