Absolutely stunning, tim. The sense of comfort, and visualization of one friend helping another is beautiful.

What a beautiful poem. It puts really strong pictures in my mind, and feelings in my heart.

This is magnificent Blank Verse! The sentiments flow in an unbroken stream of gentle awareness. The poem is so powerful, and comfort and longing shine through each and every word.

i know that there is someones pain behind this,
but it reads like a warm hug tim

the imagery of the pain being sent away on white feathers is calming, soothing, healing...
i'm so glad you wrote this down and have shared it here 

There are some hurts we can’t bear alone. To me, this piece shows an awareness of that, and a willingness to take on some of the hurt another carries.

It’s a study of love, friendship, and dedication.

I started to write this ... the first line, it was nine syllables and i thought of you ... saying make it 10, make it blank verse.

Mostly except for the odd adjustment for syllables, it is as it was written.

Thank you, molly. It has been coming for some days, then it was time to write it out. i am happy with it.

Thank you, Wayne.  It is those things. As a submissive i am silent normally, or quiet. Sometimes however, things need saying. love is shown in deeds and desire to serve. i hope this poem does show that.
