tim's Bits and Pieces - 51. There Are Men I Love

Though there's sadness here, they are still quite lovely.

The first ... allowing someone you love to hurt you, in the hopes that perhaps it will help them.

The second, I particularly gravitate to the lines

the bright beads of happiness
... scattered ..

They're there, the beads aren't gone. They could be picked up and cherished ... but they remain unseen.

The third ... I will say only that you are not alone.

Each is a wonderful poem. 

The first, well, I know to whom you speak. I hope he realises just how much you care about him. I am here to see what he does to you when he runs roughshod over you. 

#2 … this one too, I think I understand … tim, you have a heart the size of the world … there is room for each of us in it. xo

And that leaves three. There are men I love also … and how I feel about them is deep and abiding. There is a bond between us that is unbreakable. 

A powerful group of poems, written from a beautiful heart. 

These three moved me, made be remember hurt and love I have felt and experienced. All three spoke to me.

Breathing automatons who do the right things...

so the normal among us leave them alone

These lines are heartbreaking. At the same time, my heart is lifted by Number 3: what I feel for them surprises me daily

Number 1 makes me feel a yearning to be open to another, in spite of the pain he may have given. Somehow, it may heal the heart to support and love him, if he will have that.
