Timothy - 62. Chapter 62

I wasn't convinced that this would be a good meeting. She has been so angry at me over the last few months, and I could not see any other reaction from her. With her doctor, we entered the room. As soon as she saw me, she had an angry look in her eyes. "Hello, Ann Marie."

"What are you doing here?"

The doctor put his hand on my shoulder, "Ann Marie, we talked about this. Remember what I said about families, how they must stick together, how they provide support for each other. Tim is part of your family, and he is concerned about you. If he weren't concerned about your welfare, he wouldn't have bought you to me so I could help you get well. Won't you give him a chance?"

As the doctor spoke, I could see Ann Marie relax slightly, but still no smile. The doctor left the room. I went and sat beside Dad, and Ann Marie would glance at me. She ignored me and talked to Dad. I expected Mom to say something, but she continued to show photos to Ann Marie and chat about Eva Marie. I wasn't expecting a warm welcome, so I guess being ignored is better than being yelled at. I got the message, and she was still bitter.

I stood up, saying goodbye. I left the room, and the doctor was waiting for me. "Come, let's watch what happens now."

Dad was the first, "Ann Marie, you weren't nice to Tim. You are here because he cares about you."

"He cares about the money and humiliating me, just like all of the boys who I dated. All they wanted was to have sex with me, and all Tim wants is to make me beg him for what is rightly mine."

"Did you forget he was the one who found the pre opt was illegal, which allowed you to get your rightful share of the estate?"

"Yes, I didn't forget that. He controls my money, and it's my money."

"Let me remind you, how did you spend the 10,000 dollars you had? Why did you come home with no money. Ann Marie, you don't hate Tim because of his control of your money. You hate him because he is a man. He has spent his time and money ferreting out those boys who raped you. Would he have done that if he hated you? He is protecting you and wants you to heal. The next time he sees you, remember he does what is necessary to ensure you have a future."

Ann Marie had tears in her eyes. "I'm going to take her to her room. I'll see you next Monday with your Mom and Dad."

Riding to work in Dad's car, "Dad, I appreciate what you said. I'm not sure it's going to help."

"Next week, you need to bring her up to date on what has happened to those boys."

"I'll do better. I'm calling the newspaper with a story that will shock the city. I'm going to initiate a lawsuit against those boys. It might be too late to have the police involved but not too late to sue them."

Arriving at work, I said goodbye to Mom and Dad, heading for the cafeteria for lunch and meeting up with Stephen.

As I sat down, "How did it go?"

I spent lunchtime answering his questions. "Are you going to go next week?"

"Yes, but before I go, I have some homework for us."

I suspect the three pieces of slime(I want to use another word)will offer some kind of settlement before having all this go public. The Doctor would most likely bear the biggest brunt of this.

Interesting how AM don't trust any men except her Dad but she  trusted her husband enough to marry him.You don't think $$$$$$ had anything to do with that do you....Nah.

Tim is trying to become the brother that he was not in Ann Marie's mind.  So with everything he has been doing to look after her.  I think the newspaper article will be Tims way of igniting a fire under those three less than human crap.  This is going to open even more eyes as to what has happened during Ann Marie's high school years and possibly some others there as well.  I wonder how many other girls at the high school during those years were victims as well?  Suppose we may learn?

Ann Marie just got a dose of tough love from Dad. Hopefully, in speaking the truth to her with love, she can move past the pity party and truly see that Timothy has always had her best interest at heart even when she was vile to him. Great Chapter! Happy Boxing Day everyone! :)

Someone had to tell her and Mom wouldn't do it. Dad's words may do more to help her than Mom's coddling ,

She married an old man for show. She had a sugar daddy and he had a young, pretty wife.  their relationship was in name only. I expect money did play the a part. It may have  been AM's method to get revenge on men, take them for alll you can.

Great guns , so do the cookie crumbles as they say , karma has eventually taken a seat at the table, and she wants to be served , I cannot wait to see what she orders and how much is going to ordered ,the stakes are high , Ann is going to come around it is taking time but she will I am sure

Are you being prophetic?  You have a glass ball and probably not two far from the truth.

Listen carefully everyone ... Do you here that?  Click - the 💡 going on in A-M's mind. Followed by 💥 when her father lowered the BOOM. Then a swish when the 🪃 came back and hit her in the head.

Not encouraging violence, but it's all coming back to bite somebody in the ass.

Yes, Dad has started someone's gears to begin to mesh.. The question will AM come to realize how lucky she is to have Tim as a brother.
