Timothy - 44. Chapter 44

Randy arrived while we were at work.

Walking into the house, we could smell coffee. “That is a great smell, and I could get used to that smell.”

“That smells like freshly made coffee. Look who just pulled up.”

“Hey, come and help me.”

“What do you have that needs help?”

“Dinner and a bushel of vegetables.”

I took the bushel of vegetables into the kitchen. Stephen brought in a box that contained several roasted chickens. “What, no pizza?”

Stephen indicated with his head who was following him. Randy had a large pizza.

“Tim, while you heat this, I’ll go with Randy to the parking lot.” I watched as they walked toward Randy’s car, and Stephen had his arm around Randy’s shoulders. I could tell Randy was talking a mile a minute, and Stephen was nodding his head yes.

Walking back into the kitchen, Tim, I want to go home with Randy.”

“Tell him when he comes back. Aunt Clara, do you want to go home as well?”

“Yes, Tim.”

I wasn’t going to argue. When Mom gets home, she will understand that she cannot see Ann Marie without my approval. Maybe then, with Dad talking to her, she’ll appreciate that Ann Marie being in the hospital is the best thing for her.

Dinner was quiet. Randy and Stephen carried the conversation. I smiled as I could see us having dinner with our son. Stephen will make a great father. I was a lucky man, and I heard, ‘yes, you are.’

“Randy, where did you get the chicken? I didn’t know we had a fast-food chicken place in town.”

“I asked at the pizza place, and they told me where to go. Is it good?”

“Yes, it’s very good. You are going to have to show us how to drive there.”

“Randy, what time are you leaving tomorrow morning?”

Randy looked at me, and I didn’t say anything.

“After breakfast.”

When dinner was over, Stephen, Randy, and I did the clean-up. Mom disappeared. I knew she was still upset with me, but I also knew she would be furious at me when she got home and told she couldn’t see Ann Marie without my approval.

That evening lying in bed with Stephen, “Tim, your Mom is hell-bent on seeing Ann Marie. When she finds out she can’t see her, she will be very angry with you. Do you think your dad can handle that?”

“I must stay the course. If it takes Mom being mad at me to bring Ann Marie to her senses, then that is the price I must pay. I’m hoping Dad and Eva can bring some common sense to Mom.”

“Why can’t your Mom see what kind of person Ann Marie has become. I think your dad and Eva understand.”

“I showed Dad how Ann Marie spent the 10,000 dollars, and I have never shown Mom.”

“Do you think your mom would understand why you are doing what you are doing if she saw those documents?”

“I’m not sure. Mom never had to worry about money. Dad’s paycheck went into his bank account, and Mom could access that account, and I know they talked about that account. Dad had final approval on money Mom spent, but I can’t recall any time Dad said no to Mom.”

“I guess tomorrow evening we will know.”

“I’m going to call Eva in the morning. She needs to know that Mom is on the way. I also want an update on Ann Marie.”

Sleep didn’t come easy. I tossed and turned until Stephen grabbed me. Holding me close, I fell into a deep sleep.

Morning came, and I felt like I didn’t sleep. Stephen and I took our shower, the routine had a calming effect on me, or maybe it was the shower.

Walking into the kitchen, Mom, Aunt Clara was clearing the table, “Randy, who woke you up so early? I hope you don’t fall asleep while driving.”

“Randy, if you get tired or sleepy, pull over and take a nap.”

I saw the concern on Mom’s face. Obviously, in her rush to go home, she hadn’t thought about Randy being too tired to drive.

As soon as Randy finished eating, Mom rushed them out to the car. I whispered to Randy as I hugged him goodbye, “Take the long way and if you are tired, pull over and take a rest.”

Stephen hugged him as he got into the car and whispered something to him. I’ll find out later.

We cleaned the kitchen and, with a cup of coffee, we walked to work.

Well, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree that’s for damn sure!! Ann Marie is definitely her mom personified. Eva and Stephen definitely took after their dad.

No, I don’t think so. Ann Marie is only thinking of herself, mom is only a mother that sees her daughter in distress. But some counseling would be good for her. She must realise that she is dept to what have become of Ann Marie. Ann Marie would always been selfish, but she has never learned that that is non acceptable, that she is responsible for her own deeds. So dad is right when he feels guilty.

Ann Marie is in need of intensive therapy.

I too am worried about Randy and being so tired to drive without some incident happening.  That incident could very well be Tim's mother.  I think either one her and Ann Marie are so much alike.  Randy's dad must have kept her on a similar plan with the families funds.   Ann Marie did not have dad there to keep her undercontrol after she ran off and married.

Randy now driving Tim's mother back so she can attempt to see her daughter.  If she remembers what Tim had said about visiting Ann Marie only with his permission.  Mom is not going to be very pleasant as we. Tim and Stephen may hear the searing words that Mom will have when she cannot see Ann Marie.  Tim will probably be getting a phone call from either day or mom.  Tim is doing the right thing, but he also must realize that Ann Marie has been doing this since she left home. I do think there is a possibility of Mom, becoming a patient in the hospital and seeing the doctor.  I am fearful that Dad will not be able to handle both women by himself.

We must not forget Randy who will be driving and being tired as the same time.   The possibiltiy of something happening while driving back is still open here.

When Stephen shows Tim the circut board from the lawsuit.  Things will change the lawsuit that  his grandfather lost.  That circut board issue along with Ann Marie as well as mon.  Tim and Stephen will have both women sto deal with.

It is always very difficult to deal with a family member who is having mental breakdown.  But the possibility of two family members having breakdowns together will be a very trying day for Tim, Stephen, Randy, Aunt Clara and Tim's dad.

I am thankful you are writing this story and not me!  Are you getting enough sleep as well CL?  Tough story  to write!!  Hang in there so we all can hang with you.

There I thought mum loved Tim, it's becoming clear that it seems one way... I agree like mother like daughter. Ann Marie is her mothers child in everyway. I just hope Randy is safe because if he crashes Stephen will lay into mum like there was no tomorrow and she would deserve every bit of it. Ann Marie maybe a bitch from hell, but she never had a strop removing her love and made Tim feel rotten. Mum just took that biscuit and run with it, maybe she needs locking up as well!!!🤬🤬🤬

It isn't unusual for the oldest child to become the favorite. The mother will look upon the child as one born out of the love she shared with the father. Subsequent children usually results from a desire to have a child of the opposite sex. The image of a perfect family

Because Timothy never had the chance to bond with her, he can look at his sister objectively. His actions are good for his sister but stem from the protection of his parents. Hopefully, in addition to his father, his mother will also see that Timothy is acting correctly and will listen to him.

His father, having to see the tantrum, believes that Tim is doing the right thing. His mother can't accept it probably because if she did accept it she would have to face up to her contribution to Ann Marie's problems.

All families are complex, but when one deviates, the family bond is shaken. Generally one of the parents take a responsible role in bringing sanity to the family. That role fell on Tim's shoulders.  I think the meeting he had with his dad before his court meeting and the sharing of information on Ann Marie's spending, he has gained his dad's support. John will keep mom out of Ann Marie's room. Mom is determined and I suspect she will try.

I am getting enough sleep, but I dream. Mt stories come from those dreams.  There are times I wish Donnie would whisper to me.

If mom carries on like she did before they left Tim and Stephen's home, John will give her a knock out pill. Tim has already told Eva they may have to do it.
